The Story of How We Got Our Name One day, we went to a restaraunt in our area. We were just sitting there when like eight femalias wanted to take our pic. Being the suave studs we are, we decided to let them take our picture. One thing lead to another, and before we knew it we were engaged in a deep conversation with these girls. Suddenly out of nowhere came a long, vicious, and cold moment of silence. At first we panicked. What should we do, we were all thinking. And then just as suddenly as the silence came, Paul boldly stated that we are in a band (at the time we weren't, we just played together and messed around). The next obvious question came from the ladies, "what is yall's band name?" Once again there was another silence. But Paul's quick thinking saved us. He said,"we are called jiv," (pronounced like jive). This is when jiv was born. and the rest is history... "Happiness is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it, but only YOU can feel the warmth!"
